Pedestrian Critical After Being Hit By Vehicle In Hartford: Police

A man in his 20s was critically injured in a vehicle-pedestrian crash over the weekend.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a serious vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash that left a man in his 20s in critical condition over the weekend.

Officers responded to the area of 62 New Britain Ave. after receiving reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, according to the Hartford Police Department on Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a male pedestrian suffering from serious injuries, police said.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and remains in critical condition, police said.

The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene, and the driver is cooperating with investigators.

The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division responded and has taken over the investigation.
