Pedestrian Dead After Incident On Hartford Highway: Reports

HARTFORD, CT — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night on a Hartford interstate highway, according to multiple reports.

WFSB Channel 3 reports the incident happened on Interstate 91 South just before 8:35 p.m.

This, according to WTNH Channel 8, resulted in the highway being shut down at Exit 33, with the roadway only being reopened at 1 a.m. early Wednesday morning.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
