Person Dies in Car Fire on Hartford Bridge
The incident happened in mid-afternoon Sunday, backing up traffic for several miles on Route 15.
HARTFORD, CT — A person perished in a car fire on the Charter Oak Bridge in Hartford Sunday afternoon, according to state police.
The victim has not yet been identified.
The incident took place shortly before 3 p.m. on the northbound side of Route 15. Traffic was backed up for several miles as emergency personnel worked to clear the scene, police said.
