Plans For 2nd Location Of Restaurant Fall Through

Plans for a second location of a popular restaurant have fallen through. Now a clothing store will open in the space.

HARTFORD, CT — A retail clothing store will take open in the space where restaurant Place 2 Be was slated to be at 257 Asylum St., according to The Hartford Business Journal. The building's owners announced a plan in April to open a second location of Place 2 Be this summer, but those plans fell through.

Landlord Jodi Morneault and her husband Ron own Morneault's Stackpole Moore Tryon men's/women's clothiers on Trumbull Street. Jodi Morneault also previously operated a clothing store out of 257 Asylum St. called Tuesday's.
