Police Find Loaded Shotgun in Hartford Park
The weapon was discovered hidden in a playscape, according to police.
HARTFORD, CT - A loaded shotgun was found hidden in a playscape at Pope Park Sunday, NBC Connecticut reported.
After ShotSpotter technology detected gunshots in the 400 block of Zion Street, police found some 12-gauge shotgun shells in the area. Further investigation led to discovery of a shotgun containing three live rounds in the playscape.
The person who fired the shotgun has not been captured.
