Police ID Body Found In Water As Hartford Man

GROTON, CT — Police have identified the body of a man found in the water at Eastern Point Beach in Groton as Javon Reynolds, 38, of Hartford, The Day reported. Police are waiting for the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death, which does not appear to be suspicious.

The investigation into the death is ongoing. The body was found on the west shore of the beach at 12:17 p.m., Aug. 28, according to The Day.
