Police Probe In Hartford Over: Update

HARTFORD, CT — "Police activity" on the highway in Hartford had resulted in one lane closure and traffic being impacted Wednesday morning, but it appears to have finished.

According to the state Department of Transportation, Interstate 91 southbound was being impacted between exits 34 and 33.

As a result, the right lane was closed, the DOT said.

According to the DOT's traffic report website, police activity ceases as of 7:29 a.m.

The investigation was several minutes after a tractor trailer accident was cleared on the northbound side of I-91 and its not known if the two situations are linked.
