Popular Columnist Colin McEnroe Joins Hearst CT
McEnroe is leaving the Hartford Courant after 35 years to join the Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

HARTFORD, CT — Longtime Hartford Courant columnist Colin McEnroe will join the Hearst Connecticut Media Group.
McEnroe's column will appear in the Sunday edition of Hearst's eight daily newspapers in the state, according to the Connecticut Post.
McEnroe is the latest big name in print news to join Hearst after a long run at the Courant. State government columnist Dan Haar joined Hearst in 2017 and sports columnist Jeff Jacobs joined in 2018.

In addition to his columns McEnroe also hosts his own show on WNPR and co-hosts the Wheelhouse show on WNPR as well.
Hearst Connecticut Media has been building up at a rapid pace in the past couple years. It has acquired the Norwalk Hour, New Haven Register, Middletown Press, Torrington Register-Citizen. Late last year it bought seven weekly newspapers from the HAN Network.
