Prince Tech Remains Perfect, Hovers Near Hoop Poll Top 10

The Falcons are one of four remaining unbeaten teams in the state.

HARTFORD, CT — A season-opening 14-game winning streak has generated considerable support for Prince Tech in the latest high school boys basketball poll of state media members.

The Falcons will attempt to keep their perfect season intact on the road this week, traveling to New London Wednesday and Ellis Tech Friday.

For the fifth straight week, East Catholic (16-0) received first-place votes on all 18 ballots to stay atop the weekly poll.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes, with records through Feb. 6:
