Road Closures For Hartford Marathon Announced

HARTFORD, CT — Your Connecticut State Troopers urge caution in the Hartford area on Saturday morning as thousands of runners take to the streets for the Hartford Marathon. Please read through this long list of closures, as they will affect drivers for much of the morning.

I-84 E/B

Exit 48B Capitol Avenue closed from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00a.m.
Exit 48A Asylum Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Exit 53 East River Drive closed from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

I-84 W/B
Exit 54 Westbound remains OPEN into downtown Hartford. However, Founders Bridge eastbound closed.
Exit 50 Main Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

I-91 S/B
Exit 32B Trumbull Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Exit 31 State Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

I-91N/B
Exit 32B Trumbull Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Route 2 E/B
Exit 5 Willow Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Route 2 W/B
Exit 3 Pitkin Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Route 5/15 S/B
Exit 90 East River Drive closed from 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Exit 90 Main Street closed from 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
