Route 2 Wreck Cleared In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Route 2 in East Hartford caused traffic headaches for greater Hartford motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the crash was on Route 2 West between exits 3 and 2E, resulting in the closure of the right lane.

The accident was first reported at 7:22 a.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's accident report list.
