Second Crash Cleared In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A second accident on Interstate 91 in Hartford Tuesday morning caused traffic nightmares for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the two-vehicle accident occurred on I-91 North between exits 25 and 27, resulting in the right lane being closed.

The accident was first reported at 7:15 a.m. and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

This came as I-91 was closed further down the highway due to a serious tractor-trailer/vehicle crash earlier this morning. That situation has also been cleared up.
