Second Suspect Charged In Hartford 2021 Triple Shooting: Report

A second man has been charged in connection with a shooting that left one man dead and two injured.

HARTFORD, CT — Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a triple shooting last year that killed one man and injured two others, according to WTNH News-8. Lamont Fields, 24, of Hartford, was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and criminal possession of a firearm.

Three victims were shot on Norwich Street in Hartford on May 4, 2021. Chaquan Jones, 33, died in the shooting, and two other men were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Fields is in custody on $2 million bond. Josh Rodriguez, of East Hartford, was charged in connection to the shooting in November, according to WTNH News-8.
