Pink Aid 10th Anniversary Event on 10-10-20 Provides Help to Breast Cancer Patients In Treatment.

Skyrocketing Unemployment, Food Insecurity and Breast Cancer Are a Catastrophic Mix For Those in the U.S. Living Without Adequate Insurance - Pink Aid Helps Ease the Burden.
For 10 years, Pink Aid’s October Annual Luncheon & Fashion Show at Mitchells of Westport has drawn sold-out crowds. It’s usually a time of celebration, incredible food & fashion and amazing guest hosts like Guiliana Rancic, Hoda Kotb and Joan Lunden. It’s a time to cheer on women at all points in their breast cancer journey during “The Celebration of Life Fashion Show” and it’s a time to raise money for those breast cancer patients in need.
The event directly benefits women undergoing treatment for breast cancer across the state of Connecticut and on Long Island. Pink Aid supports programs that provide free mammograms, wigs, recovery garments, Stop & Shop food cards, and more. Since its founding in 2011, Pink Aid has donated more than $6.5 million to 47 different programs and hospitals - in all corners of the state and on Long Island.

Through its Pink Purse Initiative, Pink Aid provides direct financial assistance to cover essential household expenses like rent and utility bills, babysitting, and transportation to and from treatment. Since many Americans live paycheck-to-paycheck the current pandemic with its impact on employment is only further fueling the financial crisis in families across the country. Our Pink Purse Initiative has expanded nationwide to help meet these new needs.
The Covid-19 pandemic means we cannot be together at Mitchells this year but our virtual event on 10-10-20 will be crammed with pink passion, fashion, celebrity appearances, auction packages and celebrations as in years past. Gather your pod and join us! Virtual Event Tickets packages start at $175 and include lots of great swag, yummy surprises from Marcia Selden Catering and for some, a signature cocktail. Hurry – package sales end on September 30th. To purchase tickets or ticket packages, please visit https://ct2020.pinkaid.org/
