Serious Crash Cleared In Hartford: Update

HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle wreck on Interstate 91 in Hartford caused traffic headaches early Tuesday afternoon, but it has now been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-91 south between exits 33 and 32, causing a 2.5-mile traffic backup.

As a result, the three right lanes were closed, the DOT said.

The accident was first reported at 12:50 p.m. and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report list.
