Serious Crash Cleared In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A serious crash closed a section of Route 2 in East Hartford for much of the morning on Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports that Route 2 West wa closed between exits 2 and 1D due to the accident.

In addition, the DOT reported that the High Street onramp in East Hartford was closed to Route 2 West.

The accident was first reported at 4:49 a.m. Monday, and it is no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
