Serious Crash Cleared On I-84 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 backed up traffic in Hartford on Friday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 East between exits 48 and 49, resulting in the closure of the three right lanes.

The accident was first reported at 12:49 a.m., and it now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
