Shots Fired in Hartford Near Schools
Three schools were placed on alert, but none went into lockdown, according to the deputy police chief.

HARTFORD, CT — Three Hartford schools were placed on alert Tuesday morning after a report of shots being fired in the area.
Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley posted on Twitter:
ShotSpotter activation near Franklin Ave and Benton St. No schools or students in danger. No schools in lockdown. Nobody shot. HPD on scene.
NBC Connecticut reported Bulkeley High School, MD Fox School and Burr Elementary School were all placed on alert.
