Sisters Team Up for Miracle Baby at Hartford Hospital

HARTFORD, CT — Two sisters teamed up at Hartford Hospital to do at what modern medical science could not — bring another baby into the family.

After Elizabeth Gaudino lost a set of twins and was unsuccessful in attempts at in-vitro fertilization, her sister, Anna Howat, stepped in to carry her baby, WTNH reported.

Seven months to the day after she gave birth to her daughter, Anna had the transfer and it worked the first time, according to the story.
