Social Services Agency Purchases Hartford Hotel For $3.4 Million
The hotel will be renovated and serve as a men's shelter, according to a report.
HARTFORD, CT — A social services agency has purchased the Days Inn property on Brainard Road in Hartford for $3.4 million, according to The Hartford Business Journal. The Community Renewal Team serves Hartford and Middlesex counties.
The two-acre property contains the three-story, 51-year-old hotel with 68 rooms.
Community Renewal Team officials said the property will be used as a replacement for the McKinney Men's Shelter on Huyshope Avenue. Renovation work is anticipated to being in March.
