St. Francis Hospital Changes Visitation Policy

A Hartford Hospital has changed its visitation policy due to recent increases in coronavirus cases.

HARTFORD, CT — St. Francis Hospital has returned to phase 1 visitation guidelines due to the recent increase in coronavirus cases in the state. The restrictions are in line with Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Saint Francis Hospital will be closed to visitors, with exceptions for compassionate care situations, which will be made on a case-by-case basis. This visitation policy also includes the emergency department.

Compassionate visits include children admitted to the hospital, maternity, hospice/end of life, and a companion for facilitation of care. Each of these exceptions will grant one visitor.
