Hartford Voters Don't Have Many Choices
With only one contested House race and one contested Senate race, Hartford voters have six unopposed House and Senate races.

HARTFORD, CT — Several state seats in the legislature will be decided in next week's Nov. 8 election, with voters having a say in who goes to Hartford to represent their communities.
But voters in the Hartford community do not have much choice in who will represent them, as most incumbents representing Hartford do not have challenged races for office.
As a result, those incumbents are guaranteed another term in office.
