State Police Seek Hartford Vehicle Thief

Connecticut State Police Tuesday said they're seeking the public's help in investigating a vehicle theft at the Hartford Armory parking lot.

HARTFORD, CT — State police in Hartford are asking for the public's assistance as it investigates a daylight vehicle theft Monday afternoon.

According to state police out of Troop H in Hartford, at about 4:04 p.m. Monday officers responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from a parking lot at the Hartford Armory on Broad Street.

Police said security camera footage in the area depicted an individual entering a blue, 2012 four-door Ford F-150, displaying the Connecticut registration plate “DOGTAG” and driving it out of the parking area onto Capitol Avenue.

The individual is described as a white male, between 30-40 years old, with short dark hair and a full beard and moustache, wearing a yellow plaid shirt, blue jeans and carrying a black backpack.
