Student Found Dead at Central Connecticut State University: BREAKING

NEW BRITAIN, CT - The Central Connecticut State University campus is mourning the death of a student Saturday evening.

Details are scarce at this time but the death occurred on campus Saturday, Fox 61 reports. A cause of death has not been determined as of yet, the Hartford Courant reports.

In a statement, President Jack Miller said counseling is being made available to students and he offered condolences to the student’s family and friends, Fox 61 reports. The student’s name has not been released.

“...I want to say that especially at this stressful time of the academic year, it is all the more necessary to keep watch over each other and to support each other,” Miller said in his statement. “ Your compassion and understanding can make an important difference.
