EAST HARTFORD, CT — State Police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead in the roadway on Route 2 around 3 a.m. Jan. 8. The victim has been identified as Jermaine Williams, 23, of Vernon.
The man's body was found partially in the travel lane in the area of the exit 4 off ramp in East Hartford by a state Department of Transportation worker.
State Police are investigating the death as a homicide. The Medical Examiner's office will perform an autopsy.
