Teacher, Principal Reportedly On Leave at Hartford Magnet School
A recent alleged incident involving an 11-year-old student is being investigated, NBC Connecticut reported.
HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford elementary school teacher is on leave pending an investigation into allegations about the man and an 11-year-old student, and NBC Connecticut now reports the school's principal is also on leave.
The unidentified teacher, against whom no charges have been filed, has been replaced with a substitute at Environmental Sciences Magnet School at Mary Hooker.
NBC Connecticut reported it received a statement from the school Friday indicating “no students are at risk at this time" and it had no further comment due to the situation being "a police matter."
