Teenager Killed In Hartford Shooting

The 18-year-old reportedly died early Thursday morning.

HARTFORD, CT — A teenager from Plainville was killed after a shooting late Wednesday night in Hartford, according to multiple media reports.

WVIT Channel 30 reports that Hartford police have identified the 18-year-old male as being Julius Rivera, a Plainville resident who reportedly died early Thursday morning at a local hospital.

According to WTNH Channel 8, the shooting was reported at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Broad Street.
