Teen Shot In Hartford Sunday: Police

A 16-year-old male went to the hospital after being hit by gunfire.

HARTFORD, CT — Police in Hartford are investigating a shooting reported on Garden Street that left a 16-year-old male injured Sunda.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 758 Garden St. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire, according to the Hartford Police Department on Sunday night.

While officers were on scene, a gunshot victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

Police said the teen was alert and conscious upon arrival.

The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation.
