Three Fugitives Captured In Separate Raids In Hartford: Feds
The three men were taken into custody by Hartford police and U.S. Marshals for various violent crimes.

HARTFORD, CT — City and federal law enforcement officials took three fugitives into custody in three separate operations.
The U.S. Marshals Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force and Hartford Police Department Tuesday said all three had outstanding warrants.

Charged were:
• Tyreke Hamil, 23, a New York resident, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death, according to the U.S. Marshals Office.

On Sept. 17, 2021, the state of New York issued a warrant for Hamil’s arrest, officials said.
On May 22, 2023, the assistance of the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force was requested.
The task force tracked him to Hartford and, on Tuesday, the Hartford Police Department, NY/NJRFTF and the CTVFTF apprehended Hamil in a vehicle in the area of Westbourne Parkway, according to federal authorities.
Hamil will be charged as a fugitive from justice and will be extradited to New York state.
• Antwan Yopp, 21, a Hartford resident, was apprehended by the Hartford Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Task Force in the area of Bellevue Street, officials said.
Yopp has four active warrants stemming from domestic incidents to include a second-degree assault charge, marshals wrote.
• On May 17, the Las Vegas Metro Police department obtained an arrest warrant for Javion Bolton, 21, charging him with two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon, federal authorities said.
On June 23, the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force was requested in apprehending Bolton.
On Tuesday morning, as the task force and the Hartford Police Department attempted to arrest Bolton, he fled out the back door of a family member’s apartment on Park Street and forced his way into another residence occupied by two adults and three juveniles, authorities said.
Bolton was apprehended inside the apartment he forced his way into, officials said.
Law enforcers said he was transported to the Hartford Police Department and charged as a fugitive from justice.
Authorities said he now faces additional charges of second-degree burglary and interfering with police.
