Toddler 'Unlikely To Survive' 3-Story Fall In Hartford: Reports
Charges are anticipated to be filed against the 2-year-old boy's parents; there were 4 other children in the apartment, the reports said.
GREATER HARTFORD, CT — A 2-year-old boy was critically injured and considered unlikely in a fall from a third-floor window in Hartford on Saturday, according to reports.
The boy's parents are expected to be charged in connection with the incident, Eyewitness News 3 reported.
Authorities were called to the 1000 block of Capitol Avenue about 3:30 p.m. and found the boy seriously injured, NBC Connecticut reported.

That report said there were four other children in the home living in deplorable conditions.
The boy was taken to Connecticut Children’s Hospital in extremely critical condition, the reports said.

The Eyewitness News report quoted a witness who saw the boy fall as saying a screen fell and then the boy fell.
The investigation is continuing.
