Update: Tractor Trailer Crash Cleared In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A large crash involving a tractor trailer and a vehicle that had traffic on Interstate 84 westbound backed up late this afternoon has now been cleared.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the accident occurred at about 4:03 p.m. between exits 47 and 46.

This had resulted in the two right lanes being closed, according to the DOT.

According to the DOT's Twitter feed, the crash was finally cleared near Exit 47 (Sigourney Street) at about 6:52 p.m.
