Update: Tractor Trailer Crash In Hartford Cleared

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on Interstate 84 eastbound is backed up following a two-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer late this morning, but that accident has been quickly cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation's Twitter feed, the accident was at Exit 48 (the Capitol Avenue exit) and it was cleared by 10:07 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the DOT, the accident was at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday with traffic backed up to exits 49 and 50.

As a result of the crash, the right lane was closed, according to the DOT.
