UPDATE: Tractor-Trailer Crash Cleared In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 84 in Hartford caused a brief traffic mess for morning commuters Thursday morning, but it was quickly cleared up by authorities.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident occurred on I-84 East between exits 48 and 49.

As a result, the center lane of traffic was closed, according to DOT officials.

It was first reported at 6:54 a.m. and it was quickly cleared up, no longer showing on the DOT's incident report.
