Tractor Trailer/Vehicle Crash Cleared In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A busy section of state highway was shut down for most of Tuesday morning after a serious crash involving a vehicle and a tractor trailer, but it has now reopened.

According to the state Department of Transportation, Route 15 South was closed at Exit 90 because of the accident.

DOT officials said the accident was at Exit 86, an interchange taking motorists to Route 5 and Interstate 91.

Cones and signs were there to direct motorists away from the area.

The accident was first reported at 12:52 a.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report list.
