Traffic Backed Up After I-84 Crash In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic is backed up on Interstate 84 in Hartford Wednesday afternoon after a multi-vehicle accident, according to the state Department of Transportation.

DOT officials said the crash happened on I-84 eastbound between exits 48 and 49, resulting in the right and center lanes being closed.

The accident was reported at 3:37 p.m. and it was "unknown" when the scene would be cleared, according to the DOT.
