Update: I-84 Hartford Crash Cleared

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was backed up for over a mile on Interstate 84 in Hartford after a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning, but the crash is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident was reported at 6:47 a.m. on the westbound side of the highway, between exits 54 and 48.

As a result, the left lane was closed, according to the DOT.

The crash was cleared by 7:19 a.m., according to the DOT's Twitter feed.
