Highway Crash In Hartford Now Cleared: Update

The accident had closed two lanes of traffic.

HARTFORD, CT — Rush hour traffic was snarled Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 southbound, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident happened between exits 29A and 27, resulting in the left and center lanes being closed.

The crash was reported at 6:51 a.m. and it was reported "cleared" by the DOT at about 7:47 a.m.
