Traffic Was Snarled On Rainy I-84 After Crash In East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was snarled amid the raindrops Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 westbound in East Hartford that has, since, been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened between exits 54 and 51 on the interstate, resulting in the right lane being closed.

The crash was reported at 3:21 p.m., with state officials saying the accident was cleared at 4:29 p.m.

Residual delays were still reported after the accident.
