Truck Crash On Hartford Highway Cleared: Update

HARTFORD, CT — A truck crash on Interstate 84 in Hartford had traffic backed up during the mid-day hour Wednesday, according to the state Department of Transportation, but its now cleared.

The DOT is reporting the crash happened on I-84 west between exits 50 and 48, resulting in a backup of about 0.8 miles.

DOT officials said the crash had closed the left land.

The accident was first reported at 11:45 a.m. and it was reported "cleared" by about 1 p.m., according to the DOT.
