Truck Fire Halts Traffic On Highway In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A tractor-trailer fire in Hartford Thursday afternoon has halted traffic on Interstate 84, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the fire was on I-84 East between exits 46-48, resulting in all lanes being closed except for one.

The fire was first reported at 1:35 p.m. and it is still "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
