Two Shot Dead In Hartford As Summer Body Count Rises: Reports
Amid a summer of violence, two more people were shot and killed early Friday morning in Hartford.
HARTFORD, CT — The city's summertime body count continues to grow with two more people shot and killed early Friday morning, this time in the Parkville neighborhood.
According to WFSB Channel 3, two were shot dead amid what witnesses described as a spray of gunfire and squealing tires at about 1:30 a.m.
Hartford police had yellow tape up and were still investigating the scen Friday morning, according to reports.

Fox 61 reported Friday morning that the shooting scene was in the area of Park and Hazel streets in that neighborhood, which is home to the well-known Parkville Market food hall.
This latest homicide comes after a 46-year-old man was shot and killed in Hartford on Wednesday and after several people have been murdered, mostly by gunfire, all summer, with the homicide body count now reaching double digits in two months.
