Undefeated Prince Tech Grabs Votes In Boys Basketball Poll

The Falcons opened the season with nine straight victories.

HARTFORD, CT — A nine-game winning streak to open the 2017-18 season has generated increased voter support for Prince Tech in the weekly statewide boys basketball poll.

The Falcons (9-0) averaged more than 87 points per contest in three big victories last week. Prince Tech is on the road Tuesday at Cheney Tech and Thursday at Norwich Free Academy before returning home to face Vinal Tech on Friday.

East Catholic (13-0) was again the unanimous top choice of all 19 voters in the most recent balloting after crushing three opponents last week by an average margin of 42 points.
