Update: Flipped Vehicle Cleared On I-84 In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — An overturned vehicle on Interstate 84 in Hartford late this morning did cause a traffic mess for motorists, but it has now been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation's Twitter feed, the accident was cleared at about 12:12 p.m.

The DOT had said a vehicle overturned on I-84 eastbound between exits 46 and 48.

As a result, the left and center lanes were closed, according to the DOT.

DOT officials said the accident happened at about 11:32 a.m.
