Update: I-84 Crash Cleared In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 westbound in Hartford this afternoon has now been cleared after causing some traffic headaches for Friday motorists.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident happened between exits 50 and 48 on the highway, resulting in the right lane being closed.

The accident reportedly happened at about 3:11 p.m.

By 3:36 p.m., however, the accident scene was cleared near the highway's intersection with Route 44 west.
