Vernon Police: Hartford Woman Found Passed Out in Car With Glass of Wine
She was found on Route 30, police said.

VERNON, CT — A Hartford woman is expected in court later this month to explain how police found her in the middle of a busy road early Friday morning passed out in a running vehicle.
The tale of Deborah Soto's drunken driving charge unraveled at 1:53 a.m., when a passing motorist alerted police to a car stopped at the intersection of Hartford Turnpike — state Route 30 — and Dobson Road.
Police found her asleep in the driver's seat of the car with the engine running, according to an arrest report. There was a full glass of win in the center console, according to an arrest report. Her eyes were glossy and she failed a series of standardized field sobriety tests, police said in a report.
