Victim ID'd In East Hartford Homicide

A victim was found dead with a gunshot wound.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating after an East Hartford man was found dead with a gunshot wound.

Police were called to a Suffolk Drive residence Sunday around 5 p.m. for an unresponsive man. Resident Dominic Marino, 30, was found dead. He had a gunshot wound, but the cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy.

"At this time, this appeared to be an isolated incident," said Lt. Joshua Litwin, police spokesman. "There does not appear to be any danger to area residents or the public."

East Hartford Police, the state attorney's office and the state Office of the Medical Examiner are investigating.
