Weapon-Filled Government Vehicle Stolen, 2 Indicted: U.S. Atty
Two Hartford residents stole a law enforcement vehicle that contained weapons, ammunition and a ballistic vest, according to an indictment.
NEWINGTON, CT — Two Hartford residents were indicted after they stole a government-vehicle filled with guns, ammunition, a ballistic vest and other items, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
Dominque Perry, 23, and Jose Nunez-Torres, 19, stole a Honda Accord from a Newington residence, according to the indictment. They subsequently sold the tires and rims off the vehicle and attempted to sell firearm magazines, ammunition and a ballistic vest.
Perry was arrested Feb. 6 and Nunez-Torres was arrested Friday. Most of the stolen items have been recovered.

They are charged with conspiracy to steal government property and theft of government property.
