Weather Prompts Change to Governor's Mansion Open House Schedule
A parking ban in Hartford and West Hartford will limit availability to park on municipal streets, prompting a schedule change.

HARTFORD, CT — Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced Friday that, due to the City of Hartford and the Town of West Hartford implementing parking bans on all municipal streets beginning on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 9, and lasting throughout the day, the previously scheduled Holiday Open House at the Governor’s Residence that was to be held from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. that day has been canceled due to lack of available parking.
Currently, the event is still set to proceed as scheduled on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. However, those planning to attend on Sunday are advised to stay alert for any potential updates should the situation change.
