Wednesday Homicide Being Investigated in Hartford
Police were alerted to the incident by the shot spotter system.

HARTFORD, CT — Hartford police are investigating a homicide that took place early Wednesday morning.
Officers were alerted to six rounds being discharged by the shot spotter system at 12:49 a.m. in the area of 42 King St., police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man unresponsive in a driveway at 38 King St., Deputy Chief Brian Foley said.
The man had suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, Foley said.

The man was taken to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m., Foley said.
