Woman, 22, Shot, Killed At Large Party In Hartford: Reports

HARTFORD, CT — Jayla Heaven, 22 of Hartford, was fatally shot around 2 a.m. Monday at a large party on Shultas Place, Fox 61 reported.

A man was also shot, authorities said. The shooting is under investigation.

NBC Connecticut reported that a fight broke out at the party, which may have sparked the shooting. The two people shot were not the "intended targets and were caught in the crossfire," police said, according to NBC CT.
